Beach Wellness Volleyball Set June 27 at State Recreation Area

Five Bands to Play Continuously All Day Long During the Tournament

Volleyball on the beach will soon be here.

Saturday June 27th the event will also include a number of live bands playing throughout the day while the volleyball tournament is being held on the beach.

It's more than just volleyball.

It's music and fun for the whole family.

And it all goes on at the Bay City State Recreation Area.

Here are the details from County Commissioner Kim Coonan, chairman of the event along with Commissioner Ernie Krygier and Bob Redmond, county commission legislative/financial aide.

"Our friends from Wal-Mart have donated $1000 towards this years Beach Wellness event," said Mr. Coonan. "We thank Wal-Mart for this generous contribution."

Mr. Coonan added: "It is going to be a health/family event. Something for everyone. Meijer is providing the food with the profits going to Beach Wellness for beach maintenance. Plan you day to join us for music and volleyball. We thank all our partners for your support."
