There was plenty of noise being made at the NorthWest Little League field as Gephart and Anderson Pharmacy tangled Wednesday night. Hits, tight plays and clutch pitching gave the fans plenty to cheer about as Gephart's withstood a late inning rally to defeat Anderson Pharmacy 6-4.

Anderson Pharmacy looked to open up the scoring in the first inning. Dallas led off with a single and Bryer doubled with two outs putting runners on second and third. But Ryan of Gephart's got the final out to hold Anderson Pharmacy scoreless.

Gephart wasted little time to get on the board. Ryan's lead off double set the tone for the inning. A triple by Zach and a Taylor double had Gephart's up 3-0 after one inning.

Anderson Pharmacy threatened in the second when they got their first two batters, Conner and Sam, on base. But good fielding resulting in getting the lead runner helped keep Anderson Pharmacy from getting past second base and off the scoreboard.

Gephart kept the scoring going. A Morgan single and Brendon doubled produced two more runs increasing the lead to 5-0.

Anderson Pharmacy got on the scoreboard in the third inning. After Austin singled, Logan doubled him home. Then Logan worked his way around the bases scoring to make it 5-2.

Gephart was to score one more time in the fourth inning. Cole singled and following an error was able to get home to make it 6-2.

The sixth inning saw Anderson Pharmacy put on their rally caps. Walks to Tanner and Dallas set the table for Austin. He singled them in making it 6-4 with two outs. But Gephart's Zach shut the door on Anderson Pharmacy making it a final of 6-4.

Ryan pitched most of the game for Gephart's with Zach doing closer duties in the sixth inning. Anderson Pharmacy used a trio of pitchers, Austin, Bryer and Sam, to get the job done.
