Trevor helped extend Kiwanis lead in the top of the third inning. With two on base, Trevor laced a double bringing in Derek and Ryan to make it 5-0.

But Maplewood was not to be denied. Brady singled home Thomas narrowing the lead to 5-1.

Kiwanis then put the game out of reach in the fourth inning. Adam got things going with a double. After the bases got loaded on a hits batsman and a walk, Ryan got the first run in with a walk. Ryan drove in two more with a single and Shae finished off the Kiwanis scoring by driving in two more runs with a double. This built their lead to 10-1.

Maplewood got one run back in the fifth when Eurique walked and eventually scored on a passes ball making it 10-2. But Kiwanis ended the show in their half of the fifth inning.
