Things I learned while looking up other things . . .

  • NATIONAL BIKINI MONTH -- Next Wednesday is July 1.

Did you know that July is National Bikini Month? Nobody ever told me that July is Bikini Month.

    But wait . . . There's More!

  • NUDE RECREATION WEEK -- From a press release sent from the American Association for Nude Recreation to Sports Illustrated . . . "Here's a sporting event for the record books: The Guinness World Records Organization has just created a new category for the largest number of people simultaneously skinny-dipping.

Skinny-dipping, a wholesome tradition as old as mankind and frequently honored in art and movies, celebrates the natural joy of plunging into water without hindrance of clothing.

AANR plans to coordinate skinny-dipping events at participating clubs and legally sanctioned nude beaches throughout North America on Saturday, July 11, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Nudist Time, as an exciting finale to Nude Recreation Week (July 5-11, 2009)."

I'll have to check around and see if we have any nude beaches.
