Rotary Choir Joins Bijou Orchestra for Fourth of July

Choir and Orchestra rehearse
About 20 Rotarians from the area, family members, and friends of Rotary joined the Bijou Orchestra on the stage at the Friendship Shell in Wenona Park to sing and play for the Fourth of July Fireworks show.

The musicians all met at First Presbyterian Church Saturday afternoon for a rehearsal then adjourned to Bob and Cindy Chadwick's house for a picnic dinner. Bay Metro buses ferried the group to the riverfront for the evening's festivities.

The program included music and songs timed to accompany the fireworks. The entire event was broadcast live on Channel 12 TV.

Steve Kent discusses web site

The Club web site,, opens in a public section that contains information about the club, historic information, programs, links, and download sections.

A members only section includes member directories, minutes of meetings, downloads, and other information that is for use by members only. Members must request a user ID and password to enter this section. By click on the members only section you will find a link to request your log-in credentials.
