Bay Special Care Hospital Open House Slated Thursday, July 23

$1.2 Million Renovation Provides 29 Private Rooms, Other New Amenities

Bay Special Care Hospital will show off its newly renovated facilities on Thursday, July 23
 

Bay Special Care Hospital, 3250 East Midland Road, has scheduled an open house for its $1.2 million renovation and expansion program.

The event will be held 3-8 p.m. Thursday, July 23.

A brief dedication ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Bay Special Care Hospital is a 31-bed acute, long-term care "specialty" hospital dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care to patients.

Hospital officials said the average length of stay is 25 days in the Bay Special Care Hospital.

The renovation and expansion provides 29 private rooms, a patient and family living room, outdoor reflection garden, new furnishings and decor.

Bay Medical Foundation's 2009 annual fund drive is supporting the renovation. Donations are still being accepted, according to Keith Markstrom, foundation director. For more information please call 895-4725 or Bay Special Care Hospital 667-6802.###
