Get Your Epi Pen Ready!!!

I swear the Tri City Buzz Bee is back with a vengeance. On a recent early morning visit into the Offices and set of Tri City Buzz Television, we were literally attacked by a swarm of bees. Luckily the nest was not in my office, but in the office of the president / CEO. When I turned on the lights to the offices, it seemed to activate this swarm of bees. At first, we were not sure where this invasion was coming from , until my boss (O.J.) entered his office.

"We better call a exterminator" I yelled, as we both batted bees running out of the upstairs offices. I make a quick call to business associate who IS allergic to bees, "Better not come into the office today, we have 'bee' problems.

O.J. called a "bee guy" to fix the problem and then went outside to wait. I stayed inside and closed my office door.

My phone rang. It was O.J. ---- "You gotta come outside and take a look at this," he said.

As I hesitated, afraid of what I might see, I went downstairs and outside to see what he was talking about.

O.J. was pointing at the upstairs window of his office where a "guesstimated" 1,000 bees at the window. I said, "WOW they are trying to get in." O.J. said, "AH NO Julie , they are Inside"!!!!

Armed with this knowledge, I decided to wait "OUTSIDE" till the exterminator got there.

OH Wait . . . Being the journalist that I am, who doesn't go Anywhere without my camera, I laughed, "This is kind of like 'Breaking News' on the corner of Center and Jefferson", IT reminded me an episode of the days of season 1 of the Tri City Buzz TV Show.

I courageously ran back into the second story offices to grab my camera, by this time exterminator had arrived. He took a look at the window, and a hole where the bees seemed to be getting inside, runs back to his truck get gear & equipment, and says "I will dust the hole and then fumigate the office upstairs office."

I think hhmmm, do we have to evacuate while you are fumigating.... in the back of my mind, thinking... ahhh an excuse for an extended lunch hour. Well unfortunately, that was not the case, and the bee problem was taken care of within minutes.

Thanks to RNT Wildlife Control for arriving so quickly and taking care of the matter so fast. I really couldn't afford to take a lunch break anyway that day, because of an overwhelming workload . .. but that's a different blog!!!!!! (smile)
