On Sunday, August 23, 2009 the Crump Fox Club held an annual trap & turkey shoot. Located at 781 W. Prevo Road in Linwood, Michigan.
Trap shooting is shotgun shooting at clay targets - One of the three major forms of competitive clay pigeon shooting.
Shooters Rotate through 5 different positions, 5 shots at each station for a total of 25 shots. The Crump Fox Club has 2 trap houses. (SEE BELOW VIDEO)

(Above) Many frozen turkeys to be given away to the winners of the famous Turkey Shoot that goes on all day.
In the Turkey shoot, Twelve competitors compete against each other using the same rifle, closest to their bullseye wins a free turkey. This shoot continues all day, approximately every half an hour or until 12 shooters are signed up.
The Fox Club House offers one of the area's best chicken barbecue, along with home made fries and much more. Refreshments and Lions Football always available to cool off and relax in the Club House.
The Next Trap & Turkey Shoot available to the Public at the Crump Fox Club will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2009.
Rumors are circulating, that MyBayCity's Julie Munger-McCallum has challenged Wild Addiction's Producer & Host Tim Roller, to a shoot-off, although Roller's schedule has not been confirmed.
McCallum said, "I've always wondered how the pro outdoors-man would do on a target ten times smaller and actually moving."
(standard weight of the clay targets are approximately 100 grams (3.5 oz) and be of 108 mm (4.25") overall diameter and 28-29 mm (1 1/8") in height.)
Roller is a Bay City Native, graduate of Handy High School, and is also the owner of Ultimate Outfitters who currently resides in Lake City, Michigan with his wife and two children.
