Am I Getting A Bad 'Rep' ??

Have I Reached that 'Snapping Point'?

Recently, I was overwhelmed with work coming into the office early after the weekend, for BugWater Media, (A subsidairy of OJA) also the company that brought you Tri-City Buzz TV.
Not to mention a hectic morning that included:
AH, A Bee Swarm Attack,
What, no INTERNET, no network,
Oh, more Incoming Hall of Fame, work that I'm falling behind on,
Will I make it to my 5:00 appointment,
Hhmmm . . . still wondering the results of a mammogram earlier that morning
and so on . . .
You know a typical Monday, I can handle this, no problem!

ANYWAY, It may have seemed that I handled the job (WITH HELP) at days end. But maybe I didn't handle it, mentally, very well.

Does mental stress turn you into a bad person?

This triggered my thoughts, when my business associate in this company, who I had frequent phone calls and emails, to and from, during the chaos, called me the name, and I quote "Grumpy".

I thought, am I being grumpy really?, or just sarcastically funny, or was he just trying to be sarcastic or funny.????

Now . . . I'm wondering did I give anyone else the impression that I was being grumpy? (Was he kidding or not) I guess, it could have been worse . . . so I will accept that.

. . . I know I was 'probably' not nice to the many solicitors that called that day... (Laff)

There's an old saying that you can only be stretched so far . . . before you 'snap' back, kind of like a rubber band.

Have I reached that point?

I am normally a happy-go-lucky kind of person . . . aren't I??? Wait . . . do I want the answer to that?

My New Year's resolution was to be more humorous and witty, make people laugh more. Another business associate, Marlo Leveling, reminds me every time I make her laugh, "See You are Funny!" and whether it is true or not . . . I 'might' actually believe it at times. And I think it makes me feel good.

Seriously, I do believe or give people the benefit of the doubt, when they are moody or short in conversation that somewhere in their life they are stressed out, under pressure, in pain, sad, or just plain unhappy or maybe just having a 'Bad Day'. And this can rub off on a person.

I have had people turn my whole day around in a bad way, just because of something they said negatively or just rude and/or might I say insensitive.

But I also have had people who've made my day, with a nice comment or made me laugh, or just a nice gesture.

So just try to remember the next time someone is in a bad mood or having a bad day, try to understand that maybe they are just under some kind of pressure or stress. And if you can, try to turn it around and do or say something to make 'their' day.

In the end I must say . . . Praise and Thank the Lord I have a job! (AND also for. . . 'understanding' friends)
