At The End of A Rainbow

A Clean House!

Recently, my Dirt Devil vacuum broke down, so I borrowed my mother's RAINBOW vacuum. Knowing the 'Rainbow Vac' reputation, I was curious to use it.

For those who are not familiar with it, in a Rainbow, there is no bag, or filter.

The Rainbow uses water to trap dirt particles. The idea behind the system is that wet dirt and dust particles cannot fly. Therefore, dirt and dust are not redeposited into the air, as is the case with most bag filter systems. One of the things I like is that you can look into the water reservoir and see how much dirt your collecting as you vacuum.

My mother suggested that I clean one room at a time, emptying the water reservoir after each room. She said, "You will see what rooms are your dirtiest." Well I thought I would start with the bedroom, where I assume the cat spends most of its time.

So after vacuming the room, I empty the reservoir, OMG, I thought I was emptying out a dead rodent, there was so much hair and dirt. I couldn't believe my eyes . . . truly! So I thought hhmm . . . I 'm just tempted to do the same room again . . . so I did and let me tell you the water wasn't any prettier.

Wow, I thought, I just had to have one of these vacuums, it truly makes a difference. So now as I'm waiting on the arrival of my new Rainbow E Series Vacuum, I'm certain this will be one of the best investments I've ever made, next to my King Size, foam top Serta mattress.

I strongly recommend a Rainbow Vac especially to anyone who owns a pet or pets or has allergen problems!
