The evening of Friday, October 9, 2009 was full of entertainment all night long at the Prime Event Center in Downtown Bay City!

Headlining was the band "THRILLER" - A Michael Jackson Tribute Show.

This electrifying Tribute to the 'King of pop' featured a five piece band, costume changes, music, dance, lights and a ton of fun!

Adding the colorful midi-light show with full sound effects, made it a true "Thriller"!

(Left) Leon Whittington and his band, performed the King of Pops most popular hits.

Thriller Band Members are from legendary Motown Bands including, Whittington , Impersonating Michael, for forty-two years, truly possesses the Kings dynamic moves and soul sensitive voice.

Keyboardist Gerald Foster and Guitarist Darryl Hunter, are formerly with Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes! Background vocalists Jaki-G and Dazee Luv are formerly with Patti Labelle. Drummer Charles Gaston is with the JB Rock Band.

The entertainment started at 8PM with performances from local contestants of the Stables Michigan Idol contest, held every Thursday at the Stables Martini & Cigar Bar. Then followed the magical talent of Illusionist Jason Jewell with host Carson Lee, (former co-host of the Eric & Carson Show on Banana 101.5)

The Prime Event Center, 1201 Washington Downtown Bay City has a capacity of 1,000 and has over 17,000 square feet which includes, a main stage, several levels of seating, dance floor, VIP Balcony (with private bar,) and dressing rooms. (Contact The Prime at 684-8410)
