We all face challenges in life, but few of us face challenges that impact our lives in ways that really degrade our standard of living. There are times that the grind of everyday life gets to all of us and we find it hard to focus on the aspects of our lives that we are fortunate to have like shelter, food, friends and loving family members. As important as it is to count our blessings, it is just as important that we acknowledge the fact that there are many of those in our community that are less fortunate.
