Awhile ago I wrote a column entitled '
Having Trouble Sleeping?' and explained how I have a pet 'cat' that keeps me awake through-out the night. Well awhile ago....(last summer) instead of spending hours beating and fighting with the cat during the early hours in the morning, I decided to just get up and just make the time awake productive.
So now, I get up at 5 am and put the extra time to good, PRODUCTIVE use.... anything from... cleaning house, laundry, an extra work-out, early start at the office, a long bath, time to put my hair in hot rollers, grocery shop...gotta love the U-scan and the no waiting in line, and maybe sometimes a moment on Facebook.. ;)
so anyway.... I've tried to get this on video, but it is very hard because as soon as I turn on the light, (for video) that cat stops what he's doing... so the best I could do was bits and pieces of 'Just ONE' of the late night-early morning activities that go on through-out the night. (Also this activity has included in the past... up a flight of stairs, through a cat door and also with objects of glass and metal.)
I swear . . . I haven't had a good night's sleep in over ten years, it's almost maddening. Especially when I'm leaving for work in the morning and see the cat laying, sleeping all calmly.
I honestly wish I could have video running all night.
What is the life expectancy of a cat anyway . . . ?
