Pop Evil Exploded in a two night SOLD-Out True Rock and Roll Show at the State Theater in Bay City.

Z-93 Presented Pop Evil on Thursday and Friday, January, 21, 22, 2010 with support from United Financial Credit Union and Graff Chevrolet.

The members of Pop Evil say they want their fans to leave their concerts saying, 'Wow, that was incredible.' And there is doubt that was unanimous in the thoughts of over 1000 fans on Thursday's and Friday's shows!

Thursday's night show with special guests - Richy Nix and Friday's show featured JANUS!

Pop Evil Band members included, Singer Leigh Kakaty, Bassist Matt DiRito, Drummer, Dylan Allison and Guitarists Tony Greve and Dave Grahs.

(Left) Mike Bacigalupo, Executive Director of the State Theater said, "The Shows were off the hook, absolutely fantastic . . . The Fans stood from the first note until they ended." Bacigalupo continued, "The guys from Pop Evil were the most pleasant and personable people to work with and their musicianship is second to none."

The band featured their latest CD 'Lipstick on the Mirror' Lipstick's first single '100 in a 55' is an undeniable anthem that's been lighting up the airwaves nationally in 2009.

Remember back in the 80's how exciting rock and roll was well Pop Evil is bringing back that feeling in their explosive sound and stage performance. Leaving their fans feeling like they did go on an emotional 100 in a 55 Ride - Experience!.

Their energy on stage seems to rub off on the audience and they make the crowd is as much as a part of the show, with their interaction with the audience.

Both bands signed autographs and photos for hours after the show, and never look like they were in a hurry to leave their fans!!!!!

After the concerts the member of Pop Evil also signed autographs at Hooters of Bay City, and made an appearance at Indian Barry's on Midland Street.

Lynn Roberts from Z-93 said, "Z93 was so excited to have the opportunity to bring great Rock n' Roll like Pop Evil, Richy Nix and Janus to Bay City!" Roberts, continued, "Plus seeing all of our listeners at both shows getting the opporutnity to not just rock out but meet all the artists is really incredible. On top of all that We raised some great money for the Boys & Girls Club. Over $400 between each show for the Boys & Girls Club."

Z-93 also starts an online auction on our website Monday, January 25, 2010, at 9am to bid on an autographed Pop Evil guitar. Proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club. Bids will be updated between 9a & 5pm Mon thru Fri next week. The winning bid will be posted just after 5p on Friday. www.z93kqz.fm
