Wittbrodt-Keenan Claim 2010 Bean/Smith Paddleball Tourney at Bay YMCA

The Bay Area Family Y hosted the 33rd Annual Herb Bean/Fred Smith 2010 Memorial Paddleball Tournament on Saturday from the four courts at the Bay Area Family Y in Bay City.

Eighteen teams battled in hard competition in three divisions.

In the Open Division Bay City's Scott Wittrodt and Greg Keenan edged by the others with a 3-1 record to win the title.

In the B Division from Bay City, the team of Steve Roe and Sean Herrera shot their way to a 3-0 record to claim the first place hardware.

Ted Jevicks and Judy Pretzer completed the Bay City sweep by winning the C Division over Jim Price and Rick Kogleman 21-16, 21-9 in the final match.

Saginaw's Natalie Gilbert and Tim Hilk won the C Consolation plaque.
