The 14th annual Great Lakes Bay Regional Expo will be held May 4 at Saginaw Valley State University Ryder Center from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Coordinated by the Bay Area, Midland Area and Saginaw County Chambers of Commerce, this is one of the area?s largest business to business events. Last year's Expo featured 170 companies and had almost 2,800 attendees.
This year's Expo offers a new two-for-one deal. The morning will kick off with a continental breakfast for exhibitors and a special Booth to Booth Connections Expo, exclusively for participating vendors. From 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., the Great Lakes Bay Regional Expo will be open to the business community.
This year's kick-off luncheon, sponsored by Covenant HealthCare, will feature syndicated columnist and author Cal Thomas. The luncheon takes place between the two Expos at Saginaw Valley State University's Curtiss Hall, with the doors opening at 10:30 a.m.
Booth packages for Chamber members start at $575, with special pricing for a limited number of new exhibitors at $450. Community civic volunteer organizations get a special rate of $325, and for small businesses that meet the criteria, a discounted rate of $350 is available.
