Michigan Idol Show Season Opener Is A Smash

The Original Stables Michigan Idol Competition returned as THE MICHIGAN IDOL SHOW on Thursday, April 8, 2010.
Back as the fabulous host is Doug Dore. "We started this competition back in 2007 and it has evolved into not only a local singing competition but quite an entertaining show for everyone," Dore said.
The reason for all the excitement this season is the fact that the show pushes competitors to the Labadie Pig Gig big stage. Competition winner will win both a cash prize and a spot as an opening act in Friday night's Pig Gig concert.
Ten finalists will be chosen on Thursday, July 29, 2010.
Final Four plus a wild card (on-line voting) will be chosen after competition on August 5, 2010. Those 5 will perform at the Labadie Pig Gig on Friday this summer at Veteran's Memorial Park, August 6, 2010. One winner will be announced after the night's performances.
Contestants must make 8 performances (appearances) during the 18 week competition qualify for finals.
