The Annual Great Lakes Bay Regional Expo, hosted by the Bay Area, Saginaw and Midland Chambers of Commerce is TUESDAY, May 4, 2010. The Expo is held at Saginaw Valley State University's Ryder Center.

The three Chambers will once again join forces to create a networking opportunity like no other. The expo is open to the public from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Visit www.greatlakesbayexpo.com to see the growing list of exhibitors and complete details on all seminars.

According to Show Manager, Diane Card, the Annual Business Expo regularly draws close to 3,000 visitors.

Mike Seward, President of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce said, "This show can be utilized to reposition your company in our local market, emphasize your branding and reinforce name recognition, introduce new goods and services, have product demonstrations."

Seward continued, "Participating companies can produce a positive and lasting impression of their company and it is a cost effective way to reach a large audience."

The Great Lakes Bay Region's events include, booths, a luncheon speaker, entertainment, seminars and networking.

Something new this year is the Booth to Booth Connections Expo from 8 to 10:30 a.m., allowing exhibitors time to network with participating exhibitors.

Also new to the expo is a Silent Auction to benefit the Chamber Foundation.

The main stage will have everything from workout demonstrations and a fashion show to cooking demonstrations by Chef Craig of Fusion 1 Cafe and "Hair Jams" by the Spencer Gellise Salon.

The luncheon speaker is Cal Thomas, syndicated columnist and author. The topic is 'The Bottom Line Isn't Necessarily the Bottom Line.'

(The luncheon is set for 11 a.m. and tickets are $45. Reservations can be made by calling the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce at 989.752.9055.)
