City Light & Power Department Slates POWER TO SAVE Energy Expo April 29
Event to Showcase Energy-Saving Tips, Alternative Sources, New Innovations

Bay City Electric Light & Power and local vendors on April 29th will promote energy efficiency for homes and businesses, including information on Energy Smart Programs.
The city-owned utility will sponsor the Energy Expo POWER TO SAVE event again at its main service building located at 900 S. Water Street in Bay City from 2 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Admission and refreshments are free, and the community is encouraged to attend because everyone has the POWER TO SAVE!
This year's event will once again have residential and commercial product information & demonstrations on energy efficient weatherization, lighting, heating & cooling, 'tree power,' and 'green' homes.
Other vendors will display and provide information on Renewable Energy from sources such as landfill gas, solar, wind, and geothermal.
'Smart Grid' Advanced Metering will also be exhibited, as well as an advanced hybrid bucket truck used by the department.
While residents attend the event, they can find out about the energy efficiency rebates & tax incentive plans that Bay City Electric Light & Power offers under their Energy Smart Program. Plus, they may take part in raffles to win a Free Home Energy Audit, Great Lakes Loons Tickets, Electric Bill Credits & More!
