The Michigan Idol Show took on nineteen contestants on Thursday, April 29, 2010.

It's been a big bang right off the gate with contestants entering the contest. Must enter early to confirm a spot in the competition.

Mike Bacigalupo, Michigan Idol Judge, said, "The number of contestants coming out keeps growing each week, which is a sign that this competition is getting more and more popular, especially since we are turning some people away, if they don't get here early."

Bacigalupo continued, "There is some good talent and some that need to work on improvement and thats what we as judges are here to help them in the areas they need to improve." "I wouldn't have any trouble putting some of these people on stage at the State Theatre." added, Bacigalupo.

Idol Judge, George Lynch, said, "What a great night to sit in for Michigan Idol, the talent for the most part was great, and a tough decision to make at the end of the night as to who should open the following night at the Prime Event Center." Lynch continued, "I can't believe the number of contestants that have been there, it seems to be building each week."
