It's All About Spring & Summer Fashion

Downtown Divas took over the weekend in Downtown Bay City.
It was all about fashion with diva delights, sales and activities at one-of-a-kind shops and eateries, it was the perfect place for girlfriends to stroll, shop, and dine and get away from it all!
Included in the weekend events:
Thursday - Gallery Walk
Friday -'Cocktails in the City' held at the beautiful Boathouse Clubroom on Water Street
Saturday - Fashion & French Toast at the Atrium
Sunday - sing-alongs at the State Theater.
According to Candace Bales, Executive Director of the Bay City
Downtown Management Board & Development Authority,
both fashion events on Friday and Saturday were SOLD OUT!
Saturday's Fashion & French Toast, hosted a bountiful breakfast buffet and a runway show of sizzling spring and summer fashions and accessories from downtown boutiques. Attendees received a goody bag filled with coupons and surprises. Many give-aways throughout the fashion event.
Attendance at the Atrium from people all around Michigan, including Sterling Heights, Grand Rapids, and also the furthest traveled from Arizona. All age groups from attending in guests but also on the run way.
Fashions were modeled from downtown shops including:
Urban Laundry, Uptown Girl, Gems by Em, My Secret Garden, Meadowcreek Clothiers, Sempliner's Bridal Salon.
Special appearance on the fashion runway from Miss Bay County 2010, Casey Crabtree.

(Above) 6 year old Brock Ritter is actually a veteran at the fashion show, and was collecting donations for the pink fund to help fight breast cancer.
