BPI BuildingAnalyst/Energy Auditor Certificate Training.

The basic premise of Building Performance Institute (BPI) is that the house is a system and everything is connected. This course provides nationally recognized Building Performance Institute (BPI) training and Energy Auditor certification.

The BPI Building Analyst classroom training covers topics relevant to home energy inspections and provide participants with the essential knowledge and credentials to perform a home or light commercial energy audit.

At the conclusion of this course, participants will complete a 2-hour, 100 question written and a 2-hour one-on-one field examination to earn the BPI Energy Auditor Certification.

This BPI Certification course will provide individuals with the knowledge necessary to provide homeowners an overview of energy consumption and options to save money by conserving energy. It is aligned with Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst Professional standards for energy auditing and provides instruction for energy efficiency analysis using the house-as-a-system approach. Anyone can become a BPI Certified Building Analyst; there are no prerequisites.

BPI Envelope Shell Training.

Once you've earned your BPI Building Analyst, it's time to enhance your skills and propel yourself and your company ahead of the competition. The BPI Envelope certification will make your company eligible to apply for Accreditation (if your company is in an industry field i.e. insulation, weatherization, window installation company etc.). Accreditation can be useful for acquiring various incentives throughout each state.

As an individual this course will prepare you to understand not only how to analyze a home, but help you to understand why the process is so important. Every home is different and it is important to understand not only what is happening, but why problems related to the building envelope such as moisture, ice dams, mildew and drafts were created in the first place.

Solar PV Boot camp.

This course includes a combination of lectures, hands on solar trainings, as well as, on-the-job solar training and nightly homework. Learn basic knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) cells, modules, and system components; electrical circuits; PV system design, estimation, and code requirements; solar electric products and applications; an understanding of energy conversion from sunlight to electricity, and working with solar conversion equipment. This course is ideal for building contractors, electrical contractors, and anyone interested in entering the solar energy field.
