Bay City, Michigan - June 2, 2010 - Charles M. Brunner, (Pictured at Right) Candidate for the 96th District State House of Representatives, has received the endorsement of the Police Officers Association of Michigan (POAM).

The POAM represents over 12,000 law enforcement employees throughout the State of Michigan and is the largest such organization in our state. POAM continually strives to protect and improve the safety, working conditions and economic security of their members. POAM believes it is imperative to support candidates who actively promote these goals.

Brunner believes that his strong support for public safety and his ongoing commitment to the safety of the community was a major factor in the endorsement decision of POAM.

Mayor Brunner said "I am honored to receive the endorsement of the hard working members of POAM."
