Library Reschedules Brian Hayes & Ulysses the Frisbee Dog to Aug. 11

Popular Program Slated for Wirt Library July 17; Signup Begins June 26

The Bay County Library System has rescheduled the demonstration of Brian Hayes and Ulysses the Frisbee Dog from today, Wednesday June 23, at the Williams Township Park until Wednesday, Aug. 11.

The popular program was presented on June 10 at the Sage Library to a large and appreciative crowd.

Wirt Library registration begins on Saturday, June 26 for Hayes and Ulysses Pro Frisbee Demonstration to be held on Saturday, July 17. Call 893-9566 option 5. This program is designed for preschoolers through sixth graders and their caregivers.

The library system has a series of activities slated for the rest of June, including:

  • Auburn Library "Mom and Me" craft on Thursday, June 24 at 11 a.m.-Noon for moms and their children ages 2-5 years old. No registration required. Drop in and have some fun!;

  • Wirt Library Family Fun Night on Thursday, June 24 at 6:30-7:15pm. Stories, activities and crafts! Registration required. Call 893-9566 option 5;

  • Sage Library Family Story Time on Thursday, June 24 at 6:30-7 p.m. No registration required;

  • Wirt Library Adult Workshop "Learn the Art of Origami" with Ming Louie on Thursday, June 24 at 6 p.m. Registration required. Call 893-9566 ext. 2111.

  • Pinconning Library "Paper Fan" craft on Thursday, June 24 at 3:30-4:30 p.m. This activity is for children ages 5-12 years. No registration required. Bring your friends!;

  • Pinconning Library Story Times for Thursday, June 24...2-5 Year-Old Story Time is at 10:15-10:45am...Baby Story Time is at 11:15-11:45am. No registration required for either story time. A parent or caregiver is an active participant;

  • Decorate a Summer Tote for ages 6-12 at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 25 at the Auburn Library; Kevin Kammeraad, Poetry, Puppetry, Music at 2 p.m. Saturday June 26.
