The Art Sample Men's Pro-Am is Heating up the JJKN Hoops Training Center

The Art Sample Men's Pro-Am is heating up the JJKN Hoops Training Center this summer with the third year of elite level summer basketball at the corner of Second and Grant.
Tuesday night started with JJKN Newsham routing JJKN Thumb 90-60 behind league scoring leader Stephen Cramer (USA, Hope, Germany Pro-A) 34 points and Avery Stephenson (Romulus, SVSU) 21. Ryan Janer (All Saints, Ashland) added 17 for JJKN Newsham, now 2-0.
In game two, Jaden Clobes netted 31 points, including seven 3-pointers as the Matadors (1-1) rolled to an easy 86-43 victory over River Rock. Aaron Meckes (Valley Lutheran, Calvin) hit four triples en route to a season high 17 points. Jason Leach scored 13 for River Rock, now 0-2 on the season. River Rock leading scorer Chad Causley sat out the game with an injury.
Northern Concrete kept their record perfect with a 64-59 win over Team Cardinals. Nick Simpson (All Saints, U-M Dearborn) paced Concrete with 28 points, including eight free throws to ice the game in the second half. Keithan Jackson (Henry Ford CC/SVSU) led the Cardinals with 17 points. Team Cardinals drop to 0-2 on the season.
The final game of the evening saw JJKN Pickvet knock off Deep Impact 80-70 behind Tyler Gray (Frankenmuth, Concordia) who nailed seven 3-pointers. Willie Pickvet (Pinconning, Spring Arbor) netted 15 for the winners who are now 2-0 heading into a showdown of undefeated squads Thursday night. Deep Impact sits at 1-1.
