JJKN Hoops Plans Basketball Marathon to Help Russ Marvin

JJKN Hoops will be putting on a basketball marathon that will benefit Russ Marvin and his family.

Russ has Multiple Myeloma Cancer, which is a cancer that attacks the white blood cells, or plasma cells. It really hits hard on the spine and ribs, and can get worse with activity. Russ feels the most pain in his ribs. JJKN Hoops is asking for your help.

On Saturday August 21, 2010 JJKN Hoops is asking for your help. Come out and watch some great high school competition as there will be eight basketball games played throughout the day.

Both boys and girls games will be played from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM at the JJKN Hoops Training Center (St. Joe?s Gym) in Bay City, MI. Tickets will be $5(all proceeds going to the Marvin family) and you can purchase them at the door, or buy them in advance by contacting Megan Marvin at 989-450-5612.

Any other donations will be welcomed thankfully. If you enjoy basketball, and want to be part of a great cause, come on out and support the Marvin Family and JJKN Hoops.
