Stables Michigan Idol FINAL FIVE Head To Labadie Pig Gig BIG Stage

The Final Five contestants were announced at the Stables Michigan Idol Show on Thursday, July 29, 2010.

It was the 17th week of the summer segment, the theme of the night . . . 'Country'.

FINAL FIVE: Diane Korthals, Jeremey Ballreich, Kate Gembrowski, Mike Beasley and Sarah McQuade.

The finalists will move on to perform at the Labadie Pig Gig Vet's Park, Bay City, Michigan, Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 6:30 pm.

One winner will be announced after that night's performances and will go on to a performance on Saturday, August 7, 2010 on the Labadie Pig Gig big stage at 5:50 pm. -- Opening for American Idol's Taylor Hicks and Gloriana.

Idol Judge, Tommy Anderson said, "Now we're up to Pig Gig, which will probably surprise everybody, myself included. That stage is an altogether different ballgame." Anderson continued, "As for the past season, it was great having O.J. there. No doubt who had the highest points with the figures he had at hand." Anderson added, "Thanks to my fellow judges, this "Finals Night" outcome was the most perfect I've yet witnessed, or had the pleasure to be part of."

Idol Judge, George Lynch said, "Countless hours were spent by the fantastic support staff at, it really made our jobs easier tonight, we came in knowing where each contestant stood and really just had to listen and total our was really tight in the end and I really feel that each and every one of the contestants really were deserving in the end. Lynch laughed, "That's a lot coming from the one whose called the most "critical" judge." "I'm really looking forward to next week to see how well our finalist perform on the "big" stage . . . best wishes to them all!", Lynch added.

The Michigan Idol Show which started this season's segment on April 8, 2010, at the STABLES MARTINI & CIGAR BAR inside BARTS on Midland Street encouraged people who enjoy singing, to come out enter the contest, have fun while participating. Judges hope to help contestants develop improve their singing ability and over all performance.

While being apart of this event, contestants had a chance to win a cash prize supported by the Stables Martini & Cigar Bar and a chance to experience a performance on the Big Stage.

MyBayCity supports this competition and wants to thank all contestants for coming out continuously and to the Idol judges who volunteer their time each week, the shows Fabulous Host Doug Dore and the Stables Martini & Cigar Bar and sponsors for making this competition possible.
