The tradition of Downtown Bay City's original Wine Walk continued as 14 of Bay City's finest restaurants and pubs joined together offering an evening of fine wines and delicious food with friends in Historic Downtown Bay City.
1400 tickets sold out by 1:00PM Thursday, September 23, 2010 for the The 12th annual Downtown Wine walk.
Summer held out an extra day with an eighty-eight degree temperature marked at 6:00 PM
For wine connoisseurs it's the most popular end of the year event in Downtown Bay City, and the beautiful weather was loved by all, to add to the delightful event.
Silver Sand Limousine Service shuttled 'wine walkers' to establishments on their wine walk routes.
Each ticket holder received a commemorative wine glass, Two samplings of wine, from regions around the world. Plus hors d'oeuvres such as Seafood Pasta, Lamb Bitterballen with mint, Cajun Jambalaya, Smokey BBQ Ribs, Hawaiian Meatballs, Southwest Chicken, Fresh Fruit and cheeses, Assorted Pastries and Desserts just to name a few. Many musical entertainment including the Swaggering Rougues outdoors at Unity Park.
