Extreme Cage Combat Results at the Prime Event Center's Two Night Event

The fastest growing sport and most watched cable television sporting event was live at the Prime Event Center in Bay City.

It was 2 nights of Extreme Cage Combat 8.0 Tournament of Champions Thursday, October 21st and Finals Saturday, October 23, 2010.

For the areas top Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Fighters, it was a proving ground to put their skills to the test.

Five 4-man brackets were featured. Weight divisions included 155 lb, 170 lb, 185 lb, 205 lb and Heavy Weight plus individual matches and Championship tournaments.

Winners battled it out for 6-1/2 ft tall trophies and of course . . . bragging rights as the Toughest Man in Town.

John Schulz, Owner of New Body Gym had many fighters on the card along with Fighters Supporting Fighters and fighters from across the entire state.

Schulz, said, "I thought the fights were great! Thanks to Dave Knaggs and FSF." According to Schultz, New Body had 13 fighters competing both nights in single bouts and in the tourney. New Body fighters totaled 13 wins and only lost 4 fights as they brought home 3 of the 5 Championship trophies.

Adding to all the Cage Action were Hooter Ring Girls, music by DJ Bob Sater, and representatives from Defyant Industries (Pictured Below Right) (For all your fight apparel)-- Representatives from Fight Fuel Products were on hand.

    Cage Referee, Dave Knaggs, said, "Hats off to these guys. They are hard-core fighters and proved that at this weekends fights."

    Cage Combat Promoter and Master of Ceremonies, Steve Coppler said, "It was a Great Show with incredible fights!" According to Coppler the cage will return to the Prime on January 14th & 15th, 2011.
