Oh, it was a holly, jolly morning!

Bay Area Chamber of Commerce members and guests were treated to a different kind of eye opener breakfast Tuesday.

The event drew about 250 persons to the Bay Valley Resort Hotel for a musical program featuring local musical talent playing and singing -- what else?-- Christmas music.

Singer Rob Clark of The Bay City Times modified his going to work suit with a Santa hat, setting the tone for the jollity.

Dr. Lee and Mollie Newton (saxophone and piano) of Newton Eyecare Center, gave a classical touch to the proceedings, while Jeff Yantz of Edward Jones Financial and Ron Bloomfield of the Bay County Historical Museum on the electric guitar, Pete Soha on bass and Tanner Pelletier, a John Glenn High student on drums, came crashing in with holiday rock and roll.

The rollicking event was sponsored by Covenant HealthCare, Dow Corning Corporation and FinancialEdge Community Credit Union.
