World Café (International Bistro) Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On December 21, 2010 The World Café located at 200 Center at the corner of Saginaw Street in downtown Bay City was welcomed by the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. The restaurant, Owners Thomas and Diana Hadad opened the doors on December 17, 2010 for lunch and dinner.

An international bistro specializing in a variety of dishes from across the world. World Cafe offers appetizers, entrees and desserts deriving from Greek, Italian, Middle Eastern, Asian, American, Indian and Mexican origins.

Hadad said, "We have a lot of family recipes, featuring favorites from around the world." Hadad was a former member of the Downtown Management Board, "I Love Bay City I wouldn't have a restaurant any place else." said Hadad.

Mayor Chris Shannon chats with Nancy Taylor & Hal Peterson of Linwood. Taylor said, "I loved lunch and the hummus was great, I will absolutely come again."
