Populace Coffee Company, located at 106 S. Linn Street in Bay City's Historical Midland Street District, was welcomed by the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and the Community on Monday morning, January 10, 2010.
Owner Andrew Heppner officially opened in October 2010. The Populace Coffee Company menu offers Espresso Drinks, Iced Coffee, Whole Bean Bulk, Coffee by the Cup and much more.
Two years ago, Heppner moved out to California from Bay City with his girlfriend and met his now partners in Los Angeles -- Sean Ortega, Ben Callet and Mike Hudson.
Heppner Laughed, "I met them, they were coffee nerds like me, and we decided to go into business and bring our dream back to Bay City."
While Heppner was in California, he got engaged to his now fiancé, Justis Tipmore and have a wedding date set for September 2011.
Heppner returned from California in June and started building the business and started roasting coffee beans in September 2010.

(Above) Terry King and Bay Area Chamber Commerce welcome Heppner and Company to the community. Heppner said, "It was a pleasure serving coffee and getting to know local business owners in the area."
(Above) Heppner brews single serving coffee for guests. "We have Coffee Flavors For Everyone's Taste," said Heppner.

'Coffee by the Cup' or wholesale coffee items also sold in Bulk.
Heppner said, "We have several accounts in Bay City and Saginaw and hope to grow in the area as well as nation-wide."
Populace Coffee Company will deliver or can ship out orders out of town.
