Studio 23 Hosts Dating Game

It was like being back in the 1970's recently as Studio 23/The Arts Center hosted a fundraiser "The Dating Game".

Ann Gasta, Studio 23 Executive Director, said "We had a good response, from contestants that entered for free and attendees who purchased tickets to be a part of the studio audience."

Drinks & Hors d'oeuvres were available -- sponsored by OLD CITY HALL. According to Gasta, next they are looking into doing a 'Newlywed' Game Show program.

(Left) The spectacular Show Host was Jack Luna. The show included 4 sessions, grouped in ages in the 20's 30's 40's and 50's.

Winning couples took home a dinner package to Old City Hall located at 814 Saginaw Street in Downtown Bay City.

Old City Hall Manager, Tony Jeske, said, "This is absolutely a great time with a fun partying crowd, the way it should be."

Audience participation was suggested at the end of each session on who they thought out of the 3 contestants should have been picked.


Ann Gasta, Executive Director of Studio 23, was happy with the response to the fund-raising event.


Lots of laughs, clever answers, surprises, definitely a fun time was had by all who attended the recent Dating Game Show held at Studio 23 in Downtown Bay City.


(Above) Don Desenzio and his choice date Cindy Tews. Tews said, "I was nervous, but it was fun." Desenzio, said, "You just go with the flow and have fun with it."

(Above) McGinnis meets his date -- contestant #1 Whitney Murin. McGinnis said, "It is a fun way to meet a new friend."

Murin, said, "You definitely had to put thought into it before answering questions."


The show was broken up into 4 sessions, grouped by ages in the 20's 30's 40's and 50's.
