50 Brides + 20 Vendors + 1 Foundation = 71? Right?
WRONG!
It actually equals One Huge Success!
The Affordable Little Bridal Show entered its second wedding season ready to go. The Affordable Little Bridal Show is an annual fundraiser with all proceeds from vendor registration, as well as a percentage of all vendor's proceeds, benefiting The Johnny Burke Children's Foundation.
The show was held at Bay City's Arbeitoer Hall, and while attendance was down from last year, organizers say that brides were all business. "Last year we had over 150 registered brides" said Nancy Schafer (Owner of Wedding Daze),"But, then again, it seems like the people that have come through are focused on booking services for their upcoming weddings, instead of just looking for free handouts."
According to
www.costofwedding.com , the average Bay City newlyweds will spend between $15,974 and $26,623 total for their big day! Don't want to invite your Grandma's neighbor? It's your day you don't have to! Reports say adding one guest could mean adding between $167 and $204 to the overall cost of your wedding.
Organizers tell MyBayCity.com that plans are already underway for next year's bridal show, which will include more vendors and a bigger fashion show.
