Improving Your Bay Area Chamber of Commerce communications and volunteer development programs and increasing overall Chamber membership are the goals of the Chamber's Membership Development Division.
In its ongoing effort to increase membership, Your Chamber will host a Community Awareness Membership Campaign April 19-21. Chris Girard, Do-All, Inc., is the Campaign Chair. Fifteen teams will compete in the Grand Slam for the Bay Area Campaign.
The Chamber's Ambassador Club contacts all newer members of the Chamber on a regular basis to directly communicate with them about the programs and services provided by the Bay Area Chamber. They also serve as hosts at Chamber and community functions and events.
A volunteer Retention Team contacts all Chamber members celebrating 3, 5 and 7 year anniversaries.
As part of the Membership Development Division, the Chamber continues to improve and update the Chamber website, www.baycityarea.com
To effectively communicate with members, the Chamber constantly strives to improve our communications programs, including social media, broadcast fax, E-Newsletters, Events Notice, Business Journal, calendar of events and program invitations.
The Chamber has also instituted a recognition program for members on their anniversary dates through E-Newsletters and Eye Opener Breakfasts and expanded online communication programs.
Energize Bay Area, the Chamber's Young Professionals Network, captivates the Young Professional audience and initiates their involvement in the local business community.
The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is working to accomplish 16 significant membership development objectives this year through our committees and work groups that make up this division.
Laurie Bush, Harris-Bush Realty, is Membership Development Division Vice-Chair of the Board.
