Where Am I Going ???

Staying Focused

My mind plays this game almost every Sunday . . . as I leave my house to head to Church, I drive in the same direction I would when I'm going to work.

If I don't pass the road I should turn on to go to Church, it would be almost a miracle . . .

I don't know how many times, I'm almost to the office before I realize I need to go to Church first. "WHERE AM I GOING ?"

Is my mind really always on work . . . (hence, I'm writing this at eleven o'clock at night) that is actually pretty bad, when I should be focused on God and 'The Lord's Day' (not that every day, isn't the Lord's Day)

I know I have a bad memory . . . But come on. Staying focused on the moment, not letting our mind wander, always in a rush, thinking ahead.

I learned from Chalene Johnson, (an American physical fitness expert, author, entrepreneur and the CEO of Powder Blue Productions.) that a "To-Do List" is really a good idea, just like making a grocery list, I'd forget half the things on it, if I didn't have it. Write it down! I write everything down so I don't forget.

I find having a list of things you need or want to get accomplished makes for more of a productive day, at work or at home.

The sense of accomplishment and having a full productive day, NOT wasting time, saving time, is Huge with me!

But also taking some time to enjoy the simple pleasures of life . . . to stop, and as the saying goes, "Smell the Roses" and appreciate Life on God's earth.

Focus . . .

Where are you going ???
