Police Officers Who Died in the Line of Duty Recently Honored

The Bay Area Law Enforcement recently held a Officer's Memorial Ceremony on May 18, 2011.
Led by Chief Michael Cecchini of Bay County Police Department
The ceremony was held to pay tribute to officers who died in the line of duty.
Individual roses were place in a flag display in memory of the six Bay Area Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty. Included:
Frank Kowalkowski -BCPD
Delos Williams - MSP
Ralph Brouillire - MSP
Phillip Kramer - BCSD
Terry Jablonski - BCPD
Raymond Rexer - BCPD
In addition,
prayers went to the additional 158 officers that were killed throughout the U.S. in 2010.
It is more dangerous to be a police officer then ever today. They not only put their lives on the line, but also the possibility of affecting the lives of their loved ones.
Not a day goes by that an officer of the law isn't hurt, injured in the line of duty.
After the ceremony officers were commended for their efforts throughout the past year and received the following citation awards.

The Bay Area Law Enforcement send Thanks to those who attended and participated in this event.

Judge Tim Kelly sang "Danny Boy" as a dozen roses were placed in front of the flag in honor of all law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
Ceremony was held at the Pere Marquette Railroad Depot, 1000 Adams Street in Bay City
