Marc Hennessey from All My Dear Friends performs at Brewtopia for the Loopalicious concert.
Brewtopia coffee in downtown Bay City was the host for Loopalicious, A concert of looping musicians from all over the country. Looping involves a musician sampling a short or long section of their composition and repeating it over and over again while playing over top of the sample.
Erin Case from Midland was responsible for bringing the concert to Bay City. Some of the musicians found her from dodiy.com, a website for do it yourself and touring musicians to book shows and find one another.
The music was definitely unique. One looper, Marc Hennessey from "To All My Dear Friends" played a combination of guitar and electric violin.
He came up from Gainesville, Florida just to play in Michigan. "To All My Dear Friends stage performance was exceptional and his music was completely original. I wish he didn't live in Florida" said Sami Dardas from Auburn. Find more about him at http://toallmydearfriends.com/.
