Guest Speaker at Energize Luncheon

During a recent Energize luncheon held at The DoubleTree Hotel, Northwood University Professor and Inspirational Speaker Jeff Phillips addresses the nature of achieving personal peak performance through the daily exercise of positive self talk, while maintaining an exceptional realistic self image.

Andrew Kornecky, Energize Chair, said "We're excited to get Professor Jeff here for our luncheon. He's a dynamic speaker and his message can be interpreted into real life practices. He reminds me of the neat professor who didn't always stick to the book, but you took a lot out of the lecture."

Kornecky continued, "His talk on Peak Performance focused on positive self talk, that we're always "under construction" and that peak performance is not something we achieve and can say "ahhh", it's something we live and continue to work on our whole lives. It's more about our personal "equity" than what things we own that make us peak performers."

Phillips is a Professor of Language Arts for Northwood University as well as a highly acclaimed, inspirational speaker. He has shared his unique and humorous speaking style with many Great Lakes Bay organizations as well as being a professional cartoonist holding a degree in Commercial Art.
