Spirits were high at the Willew Lounge Wednesday for Michigan Idol Show as the singing competition nears the finals week on Wednesday, September 7, 2011.

The hype is in the air and the action is good. Idol Judge Hairball John said, "This is more then just a karaoke singing contest, you need to be a entertainer and a performer." Hairball visits the studios of LastChoiceCountry.com on Thursday to discuss the night's performances.

Andy Reed from Reed Recording who is offering the 6 hours of studio time to the winner will be present at the Finale. Andy is currently touring with The Verve Pipe and will be performing songs off his latest album An American Underdog at The Willew!

Michigan Idol Host Josh Sharrow said, "I think at this stage of the competition everyone is on the same playing field."

Sharrow continued, "Whether you are 12 or 47 it doesn't matter now! The contestants need to bring it for the judges. The judges are looking for someone to be the opening act for the State Theater. Next weeks performance has to be AWESOME!!" added Sharrow.

Idol Judge, Diane Szczepanski said, "It was great to see the turn-out for the evening's competition and the buzz of excitement in the room was so evident"... The finale next week will be something to see, because competitors know it's game time and will be bringing it on full force"

Join everyone at the Willew for Finals Night Wednesday at 8pm. Come early to get a seat and enjoy dinner. Announcements for the next season of The Michigan Idol Show will be made also. Stayed Tuned.
