Bay Area...on the Go! Set for September 22

"Bay Area...On the Go!", a development profile will be presented by Your Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Doubletree Hotel Conference Center-Bay City Riverfront. Governor Rick Snyder will be the keynote speaker.

Tickets are $375 for a table of 10 or $40 per person. The event opens at 9 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m.

"Bay Area...On the Go!" is a program that showcases the Bay Area and the economic development opportunities here. It is also an opportunity to recognize businesses that have made significant investments in the Bay Area.

This year's program will also focus on the importance of agribusiness to the Bay Area, the Great Lakes Bay Region, our state and our nation.

As part of this year's "Bay Area...On the Go!" program we will recognize and award the Bay County Farm Bureau, a local Bay County farmer and agribusinesses in the Bay Area for the important services and economic development initiatives they provide to the people of the Bay Area.

A special video recognizing the importance of agriculture and agribusinesses to our people and our economy will be unveiled during the program.

"Bay Area...On the Go!" is a great opportunity to bring together our farmers, agribusinesses and the general business community to celebrate the importance of this sector to our local economy.
