Spelling Bee Winners Announced

The Knights of Columbus' recently held their annual Spelling Bee

The Knights of Columbus' recently held their annual Spelling Bee. Winners of the top four spellers. are pictured in the above photo Akshayaa, Caroline, Natasha, Emily, with Bob Graczyk (representing the Knights) and Terrie DeWaele.

While some school districts are discontinuing spelling classes in their elementary and middle schools, Bay Area Catholic Schools continue to offer them and include vocabulary from within the other subject areas.

Sharon Pagryzinski, Enrollment & Marketing Coordinator, at Bay Area Catholic Schools, said, "We encourage and celebrate good spelling among our students, including participation in a local spelling competition after school hours."
