Five Inducted Into John Glenn Hall of Fame
Bob Darbee, Wayne Blair, Jim Doyle, Nancy Sue Warner Meadows and Larry Rea

Bob Darbee, Wayne Blair, Jim Doyle, Nancy Sue Warner Meadows and Larry Rea were recently inducted into the Bangor John Glenn Hall of Fame.

The five inductees join Doug Sharp, Mary Kay Bolduc and Mike Denay -- Members of the inaugural class that was inducted in 2011 -- into the Hall of Fame, which is commemorated between the athletic event entrance and the gymnasium at the high school.
They joined the elite group during a ceremony at halftime of Bangor John Glenn's boys basketball game against Saginaw Nouvel on January 20, 2012.
Inductees were presented plaques as a memento of the induction eremony. Plaques are also displayed in the John Glenn school and gymnasium.
The inductees for the Hall of Fame are selected through nominations filed at Glenn's athletic office. The school is accepting nominations for next year's John Glenn Hall of Fame inductions, which will take place in the fall as part of an alternating schedule.
