ShaaaaZaam . . . .
Now you see them . . . now you don't.
"Holy Sold Out, Batman," said George Lynch of Great Lakes Bay Media Group (GLBG) after the Bay City Mall half-off Gift Cards flew off Great Lakes Bay's INTERNET shelf in an almost record-breaking promotion on Friday afternoon.
GLB listed thirty (30) half-off $50 Gift Cards for Bay City Mall shopping at around 1:30pm on Friday and the Gift Cards were gone before 2:30pm the same afternoon.
The high-tech Marketing Promotion used a combination blitz of MyBayCity and LastChoiceCountry FACEBOOK, as well as live INTERNET Radio to bring attention to the Bay City Mall Gift Card offer.
"That's $1,500 in about 50 minutes," said Josh Sharrow, on-air personality for LastChoiceCountry.com INTERNET Radio and also a parter in GLBG along with Lynch and MyBayCity Publisher, O.J. Cunningham and Shawn Doyle, also of Last Choice Country Radio.
"That's darn impressive," Sharrow went on, "I don't care who you are," he added. "I guess you could say it was a gi-normous success," laughed Sharrow.
Lynch said that both Barb Behmlander (General Manager) and Tracy Volk (Marketing Manager) at Bay City Mall had been notified of the success of the promotion and were also impressed.
The $50 Gift Cards (bought for only $25) enable purchasers to shop at any store in the Bay City Mall complex that includes Sears, Younkers, JC Penny's and Target as "anchor" stores.
Great Lakes Bay Media also has half-off deals on their website for Jack's Deli (Inside Stretch's Bar on Henry in Bay City)and Tiffany's Unique Boutique (In Freeland).
Next on the INTERNET web site for GLBG (February 9, 2012)is the
First Edition of the BAY CITY BURGER BOOK - a half-off "Buy One, Get One Free" offering.
Lynch describes the BURGER BOOK as "The best deal for the Burger Lover in you." He then explained that the promotion is a "Buy one Get one FREE offer" featuring hamburgers from 15 Bay County Restaurants and Bars. "It's a great bargain for burger lovers," Lynch said. "The Burger Book is valid for 1 year -- AND . . . You get forty-one (41 Free Burgers) for a $20 purchase.
