36th Annual Home, Garden & Lifestyle Show Is Feb 24-26

The Bay County Home Builders Association's 36th annual show will take place Friday, February 24 through Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Bay County Civic Arena, 4231 Shrestha Drive, Bay City. Show hours are Friday from 4-7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Admission is $3 or 3 cans of food to benefit the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission in Bay City. Children 16 and under are free. Complete show details are available at www.BayCountyHBA.org .

Ideas from A to Z for building and spring projects: appliances, cabinets, construction and remodeling, counter tops, doors, financing, flooring, gutters, heating & cooling, insulation, kitchen and bath fixtures, landscaping, plumbing, roofing, security systems, siding, vehicles, water softeners, windows, and more.

Saturday will feature Commemorative Bucks of Michigan, who invite hunters to bring their trophy antlers to be scored, or just stop by and exchange stories and find out what else their Official Scorers can do for them.

Hunting and fishing enthusiasts will enjoy meeting Tim Roller from the TV show Wild Addiction, who will appear all day Saturday. Tim's TV show airs 10 times a week to over 25 million people.

WSGW's Listen to the Mrs. team of Art and Sue will broadcast live from the show on Saturday, and from Noon to 2 p.m. they will sell and autograph their program's 60th Anniversary Cookbook.

Kids Construction Korner, sponsored and hosted by Sequin Lumber and featuring Bob the Builder, will take place during the show on Saturday from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Children will have the chance to build their own tool box and take it home with them.

Chef Dixie Dave, local wild game cooking expert, will be at the show on Sunday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. He will offer great tips on wild game cooking, he'll have his cookbook for sale, and some tasty samples of his cooking.
