The inclement weather didn't keep away friends, family or the business comunity away from the
Populace Coffee ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, February 24, 2012.
Several Bay Area Chamber Ambassadors, as well as Chamber President, Michael Seward, turned out for the event to officially welcome the coffee shop to its new Downtown Bay City location.

Populace recently moved from the west side of Bay City to this east side spot, located at 1003 Washington Ave., Bay CIty, MI 48708, directly across from the Main Post Office.
"We're just glad everyone came out", remarked owner Andrew Heppner. According to Heppner, "Serving the best coffee we can, is our mission".
