The National Paddleball Association (NPA) announced its slate of Summer event in a pres release to the membership by Board Member, LORRI BRIGHAM.
Three events are advertised.
One: the Outdoor, 3 wall, tourney in Belle Isle, MI on June 15th to 17th. NPA members have been invited to participate in this long standing outdoor racquetball event. This will be a doubles event. Details to come.
Two: the 36th Annual Pig Roast and Human Sacrifice will be held July 21st in Kalamazoo, MI. The tourney runs from 9:00am to around 3:00pm at the Bronson Athletic Club, followed by a pig roast at the VFW (with great food, music and horseshoes). This is a grab-bag doubles tourney with Open and B divisions.
Three: The WOR Las Vegas outdoor tourney September 19th to 23rd. This is the 2nd year that NPA paddleball has been invited to this great racquetball tournament. It is a doubles event and will most likely offer Open and B, with a rolldown division for the first round losers. According to BRIGHAM, "If you didn't go last year - just ask someone who did - it is a great time"
The NPA will post this info on the website -
