Recognizing the difficulty in locating essential information related to parenting, Bay City's Kate Cardinali, owner of Innovative Media + Design, and mother of three, initiated a group of (mostly) mothers to organize and launch a website catered specifically to child caretakers in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
The website is www.greatlakesbaymoms.com and is anticipated to launch in June of this year. The website consists of four main components:
The goal of Great (Lakes Bay) Moms is to provide all child caretakers in the Great Lakes Bay Region with easy access to information regarding healthy living, and raising children. Greatlakesbaymoms.com will be the one-stop-shop for all information pertaining to anything child or parent related, and will, ideally, save users hours of independent research. Specific directories have been formed to pinpoint specialty pediatricians, midwives, childbirth classes, daycares, parks, activities for children, and many more categories.
Not only will this site undoubtedly assist mothers, it will also help the community, by providing links to local resources and businesses. Advertising space is also available for any company interested in directly reaching out to child caretakers in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
