Rock for all Ages Is Theme For The 2012 Labadie Pig Gig Line-up!

The Spin Doctors will be the headlining act of the 20th Anniversary Labadie Pig Gig's opening night, Thursday, August 2, 2012 in Bay City's Veterans Memorial Park.

Rock acts, Winger and Trapt will be the headlining performers for the Labadie Pig Gig's Rock night on Friday August 3, 2012.

A two day sale will be held June 15th and 16th to give fans a fantastic opportunity to purchase the Thursday night show, The Spin Doctors tickets and also the Friday night show, Winger & Trapt tickets for an amazing low price of just $15.00 per ticket for each show.

After this two day sale, general admission tickets will be available for $25.00. This includes admission to the Labadie Pig Gig's "Midwest Cook Off" and the family activities and events. The special $15.00 tickets will only be available on Friday, June 15th & Saturday, June 16th at both Labadie locations, (711 S. Euclid and 909 N. Euclid Ave, Bay City) or online at labadieauto.com.

The Spin Doctors are an alternative rock band formed in New York City in the late 1980's. Their debut album Pocket Full of Kryptonite was released in 1991. The album soon became popular commercially with hit singles "Little Miss Can't be Wrong" and "Two Princes," which would top out on the billboard 100 at 17 and 7 respectively.

Trapt has been making successful hit rock music since their first album in 1998. They have had 4 top 50 Billboard albums and 3 top 25 Billboard albums. Their self titled album Trapt, released in 2002 went platinum and elevated them to international fame with the Billboard singles "Headstrong", "Still Frame" and "Echo." They have continued their success with their next three albums Someone in Control, Only Through the Pain, and No Apologies all cracking the Billboard top 25.

Winger has been releasing music and touring successfully to enthusiastic fans for over 20 years. The band has two platinum albums, Winger and In the Heart of the Young, along with top charting singles "Seventeen", "Headed for a Heartbreak" and "Miles Away." These hits put the band at the top of the charts in the early 90's, and they were nominated for the American Music Award of Best New Heavy Metal Band.

Brent James and the Contraband will be the opening act of the Labadie Pig Gig's Friday night Rock show. Brent James is from Frankenmuth, Michigan and his new release Moment of Silence blends rock with Brent James' superior lyrics. Brent James and the Contraband are an upbeat rock group that is sure to open Rock Night with a bang.

The Labadie Pig Gig is celebrating its 20th Year Anniversary Celebration and has escalated the level of entertainment for this commemorative year. The Midwest Championship Rib Cook Off features rib competitors from all over the country battling for the title of "Best in the Midwest." There will be 4 full nights of national entertainment as well as Pig racing, the Charter family fun stage, Children's activities, Covenant Healthcare Hospitality tent, Coors Light Refreshment tent, Charitable fundraising booths, the Catholic Federal 5K Races and much more.
