The weekend of March 4-6 will long be remembered in Bay County High School bowling circles.
Bangor John Glenn's Varsity Boys Class Bowling Team captured the State Title in Class B at Sterling Heights. The Bangor Varsity Girls placed 2nd in state competition. And also at Sterling Heights, the Bay City All Saints Varsity Boys Bowling Team captured 2nd place State honors in Class C/D/
After the competition, all three teams gathered together for the photo displayed above. It will no doubt be local high school bowling photo that will be long remembered.
Members of the 2005 Class B State Champion John Glenn Bobcats are: (Dark Blue Shirts) Steve Flues, Trevor Block, Eric Sturm, Nate Block, Mike Wilson, Brian Roznowski, Brad Shaffer, Larry Wade and John Kendall.
Bangor John Glenn Girls Class B(Dark Blue Shirts)team members are: Courtney Fylling, Kristen Sowinski, Heather Huggard, Katie Cizewski, Brittney Patterson and Stephanie Zaucha.
Bay City All Saints (Light Blue Shirts) Class C/D team members: Bobby Wisniewski, Nate Bauer, Andy Johnson, Andy Glowiak and Ryan Turk, Greg Baum and Will Walraven.
Craig Bock coached the Bangor John Glenn Boys. John Glenn Girls' Coach is Anne Roznowski. All Saints'Coach is Tim Bauer.
